Estimated Reading Time: 1 minute“We all fall short.”
Sinners in the body of Christ often say this cut-off, scriptural reference to reinforce that sinning is inevitable and inescapable.
However, the correct scripture actually says this in the past tense,
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ~Romans 3:23 KJV
This scriptural passage is referencing that every unsaved man needs the Savior Jesus Christ to become righteous. So if a person claims Christianity, their mouths should speak of repentance rather than excuses.
