Long Story {Short}™: The Rattler
Estimated Reading Time: 1 minuteIn the year 2003 when I was born of the baptism that comes by fire, I— and my young daughter who needed glasses— stood within three feet around a coiled snake in the street. It didn’t move so I thought it was dead as we had a conversation about it.
My neighbor walked over and my daughter’s friend started running up to us. They were about 25 feet away when the snake rattled its tail, looked at them, and went after them.
True story.
