Make no mistake, if a person who bears the name Christian calls for others to incite violence, they are not Christian at all.
Recently, Liberty University president, Jerry Falwell Jr., basically told his students that it was okay1 to carry weapons so that they could kill the terrorist before the terrorist kills them.
“I’ve always thought if more good people had concealed carry permits, then we could end those Muslims before they walked in,” Falwell said.2 (Link)
This devilish quote directly contradicts Jesus Christ’s commands in the Holy Bible that every Christian is called to follow,
“[38] Ye have heard that it hath been said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth’: [39] But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.‘” ~Matthew 5:38-39 KJV
“[17] Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. [18] If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. [19] Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay,’ saith the Lord. [20] Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. [21] Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” ~Romans 12:17-21 KJV
Christians follow the Lord Jesus, not the ways of the devil in the mouths of men. It is sad, but clear, that this man, Jerry Falwell Jr., does not have faith in the Lord because the weapons of a Christian’s warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.3. In other words, their weapons are spiritual through prayer, petition, and supplication. People like Jerry, as the president of a Christian university, are harming the name of Christian and if he does not repent, he has proven his works to be reprobate and therefore, according to the Holy Bible, his faith is dead.4

Acts 3:14-26 KJV: In this passage of the Bible, the Apostle Peter calls the Jews to repent while making a speech to them about how they denied the Holy One and the Just, instead desiring a murderer to be granted to them.
