The gospel is the good news. Learning to share your testimony with courage is very important for a Christian. In fact, an atheist once said to me that if Jesus can be verified, I have the ability to change the world. I never would have gotten that statement from him if I had not had the courage to engage in conversation with him. This is what the good news is all about. I was able to tell him at that point that Jesus Christ promises proof if only you would seek Him.
Jesus is the Word of God; He is the Bible. All those who wrote the holy manuscripts were Holy Spirit-inspired because God was with them. The prophets declared His promises,
And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart. ~Jeremiah 29:13 KJV
Then Peter said unto them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” ~Acts 2:38 KJV
I love His promises because I found Him and I didn’t even know about those scriptures. However, Jesus proved Himself by baptizing me with fire when I first believed and then went after Him.
Have courage and learn how to spread the gospel effectively. Make every day a holy day. Engage.
